psychometric profiling at Cmed

The psychometric tool Cmed uses is called the Personal Profile Analysis (PPA), designed by Thomas International. It is a self-administered questionnaire that gives Cmed some insight into your preferred work style. PPA is not a test and there are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers or 'good' or 'bad' qualities.

Normally, Cmed uses PPA only after candidates have passed an initial screening interview. If you are invited for further interview, you will receive an e-mail from Thomas International explaining how to complete the PPA online. The questionnaire consists of 24 questions, each asking you to choose one adjective that is most like you and one that is least like you, and should take only 7-8 minutes to complete. The results will be available to Cmed immediately.

Cmed does not base decisions to hire candidates on the results of a PPA. Cmed will use the PPA to prompt questions and open discussion in order to help us gain a better understanding of your personality and likely work style.

If you have any questions about the PPA, e-mail careers@cmedresearch.com. Your questions will be confidentially handled by our fully qualified staff.
